Vince Barton (Vincent David Barton) was born on February 1, 1908 in Edmonton, Alberta (Canada). He made his Major League debut on July 17, 1931 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1931, his rookie year, he hit .238 with 13 home runs and 50 RBI. Barton played for the Chicago Cubs for his entire 2 year career.
