Vin Promuto (Vincent Louis Promuto) was born on June 8, 1938 in New York, New York. After going to high school at Mount St. Michael (New York, NY), Promuto attended Holy Cross College. Promuto made his professional debut in the NFL in 1960 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 11 year career.

Most people believe that 1960 was Vin Promuto's best year.
