That's all and good, but I don't consider it to be an Amazing shot. It wasn't even a shot. This was an amazing accident.

sweet. man, the kid who originally threw the pass stunk! thats a great save though. does it count if the ball goes up thru the hoop, then down again?

Yeah, it just has to go through the hoop on the way down, irrespective of if it does it on the way up. As long as all the ball is over the rim, then goes back down, it counts.

It didn't go upward through the hoop though, it caught the bottom of the net and was carried around the rim by the net.
