(Barron) Today Nike suspended the huge contract they have with Michael Vick. Reebok and Nike pulled all Vick related merchandise, jersey's, and shoes. A very smart move by both companies, and a move that they really had no choice in making. Roger Goodell told Vick to stay home for training camp, and if you saw the press conference, Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank has had enough of him too. All great moves that had to be done... no brainers...no one in their right mind would defend the actions of Vick....Right?!?!?!?!

Ok...I understand innocence until proven guilty and all of that garbage, but Michael Vick is now a PR nightmare. The Fed's don't issue federal indictments unless they have evidence, and by what they are saying now...the evidence that we have heard is just the tip of the iceberg. This guy is a scumbag...I don't care if he has a clean record. He flipped the bird to his home-field crowd, got caught trying to sneak marijuana on a plane (why else would you have a secret compartment in your water bottle), and now is involved in dog fighting. But look who came to his defense.....NEON DEION SANDERS!!
Deion has a weekly column with a Florida newspaper, and he recently wrote one titled... "Don't be too quick to judge Vick." (Click the title to read the whole article.) First...how does Deion have a newspaper column?? He's good on TV, with his suits and bling. But do we want Deion tackling the big stories....I mean Deion NEVER TACKLED ANYONE!!!
Here's basically what he said...
Deion says that what a dog means to Vick may be different than what a dog means to you and I. Umm, Deion this is a living, breathing, defenseless animal. Not a car that some people use to drive to work and others use in a demolision derby.
Deion says that because Vick is not the ringleader, he is being unfairly treated, and that unless this will bring an end to dog fighting, the fed's are just using Vick. Umm Deion, does that mean we don't arrest drug dealers unless they are the main suppliers???
And the best for last...Deion says that he believes Vick has a passion for dogfighting...and that he knows MANY athletes that share this passion. AND that it is like ultimate fighting, but the dog doesn't tap out. UMMM DEION....ultimate fighters CHOOSE to enter the ring and fight...these dogs do not have a choice...and if an ultimate fighter loses, do we now have the right to electrocute him, drown him, beat him, or slam him on the ground to his death???
Finally Deion shows the ultimate in stupidity when he says that Falcons fans better pray because Joey Harrington is going to be the Atlanta QB. UMMM Deion...I'm hoping that Falcons fans will give Joey a standing ovation when he takes the field...Joey Harrington may suck as a QB....but Michael Vick sucks as a HUMAN BEING....who do you want on your team?!?!?!

Judge: Order in the Court! ORDER IN THE COURT!, I hear by find Michael Vick Guilty and to be sentenced to life, without parole...on second thought, lets make that back to back.
