Vick's new uniform to be prison stripes?

Ho boy, it appears as if Michael Vick is going to get what’s coming to him. Two more defendants in the federal dog fighting case have rolled over and taken a plea bargain in exchange for guilty pleas. This brings the total # of defendants willing to testify as to Vick’s involvement with the ring to seven. Those seven men can tie Vick’s involvement to the dog fighting ring back to within 2 months after he signed his very first NFL contract.
Bad news for Michael Vick. Good news for dogs, dog lovers and those with a sense of justice.
News outlets today are reporting that Vick is looking to enter a plea for the charges against him. Well, one would think so! If he weren’t his sense of self importance and ego and infallibility would surely fall in the “not guilty by reason of extreme insanity” category.” Do they have that in cases like this? I opted out of law school, a choice, that I continue to maintain was a wise one.
And it is likely that Ookie has not faced his darkest day yet, not by a long shot. ESPN reports that federal prosecutors in Richmond are preparing a superseding indictment. Basically, it’s a whole new set of charges. These could come down any day and will include a racketeering allegation typically used to subvert and convict those involved in organized crime organizations. A charge of this type would make the government’s case against Vick easier to prove.
And really, not to be glib, but what was Bad Newz Kennels if not organized crime at is most base and animalistic level?
Ron Mexico is goin’ away, man. He no be playing football anymore, yo.
