Vic Sears (Victor Wilson Sears) was born on March 4, 1918 in Ashwood, Oregon. Sears attended Oregon State University. Sears made his professional debut in the NFL in 1941 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia/Pittsburgh over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that 1952 was Vic Sears's best year, as he ran back an interception for a touchdown and recovered 4 opponents fumbles.
