Born on November 13, 1970 in Los Angeles, California, Vic Darensbourg (Victor Anthony Darensbourg) played for the Florida Marlins, Montreal Expos, Colorado Rockies, New York Mets, Chicago White Sox and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 8 year career. Darensbourg broke into the bigs on April 1, 1998 with the Florida Marlins, and put up a 3.68 ERA in 71 innings pitched in 1998, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Vic Darensbourg's best season was 2000, when he posted a 4.06 ERA and struck out 59 batters.
