Veryl Switzer

Veryl Switzer (Veryl A. Switzer) was born on August 6, 1932 in Nicodemus, Kansas. After going to high school at Bogue (KS), Switzer attended Kansas State University. Switzer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1954 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1954 was Veryl Switzer's best year, as he ran back a punt for a touchdown, had 500 kick return yards and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
