Versil Deskin (Versil E. Deskin) was born on February 14, 1913 in Avery, Iowa. Deskin attended Drake University. Deskin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1935 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1936 was Versil Deskin's best year.
