Vernon Turner (Vernon Maurice Turner) was born on January 6, 1967 in Brooklyn, New York. After going to high school at Curtis (Staten Island, NY), Turner attended Carson-Newman College. Turner made his professional debut in the NFL in 1990 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Los Angeles Rams, Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1994 was Vernon Turner's best year, as he ran back a punt for a touchdown and had 886 kick return yards.
