Vernon Edwards (Vernon Lajvin Edwards) was born on June 23, 1972 in Houston, Texas. After going to high school at Kashmere (TX), Edwards attended Southern Methodist University. Edwards made his professional debut in the NFL in 1996 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers for his entire 1 year career.
