Verne Miller (Verne L. Miller) was born on May 11, 1908 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Miller attended Carleton College and St. Mary's University of Minnesota. Miller made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Minneapolis Red Jackets. He played for the Minneapolis Red Jackets for his entire 1 year career.
