Vern Oech (Vernon M. Oech) was born on May 31, 1913 in Beach, North Dakota. Oech attended the University of Minnesota. Oech made his professional debut in the NFL in 1936 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 2 year career.
