Vern Burke

Vern Burke (Vernon Eugene Burke) was born on April 30, 1941 in San Luis Obispo, California. After going to high school at North (Bakersfield, CA), Burke attended Bakersfield JC and Oregon State University. Burke made his professional debut in the NFL in 1965 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1966 was Vern Burke's best year.
