Verlon Biggs

Verlon Biggs (Verlon Marion Biggs) was born on March 16, 1943 in Moss Point, Mississippi. After going to high school at Moss Point (MS), Biggs attended Jackson State University. Biggs made his professional debut in the AFL in 1965 with the New York Jets. He played in the AFL for 5 years, playing for the New York Jets the entire time. Biggs also played in the NFL for 5 years, playing for the Washington Redskins and New York Jets over the course of his 5 year NFL career.
Most people believe that 1972 was Verlon Biggs's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
