Vaughn Stewart (Vaughn Morton Stewart) was born on January 16, 1919 in Anniston, Alabama. After going to high school at Anniston (AL), Stewart attended the University of Alabama. Stewart made his professional debut in the NFL in 1943 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Brooklyn Tigers and Chicago Cardinals over the course of his 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1944 was Vaughn Stewart's best year.
