Vance Bedford (Vance Juano Bedford) was born on August 20, 1958 in Beaumont, Texas. After going to high school at Hebert (Beaumont, TX), Bedford attended the University of Texas. Bedford made his professional debut in the NFL in 1982 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 1 year career.
