Avery Johnson’s $20 million
contract is well deserved for taking his team to the finals. Give credit to Mark Cuban also for acknowledging
the fact that he has something worth holding on to. Also the way the team responds to Avery is amazing and it took a
hall of fame coach to recognize that and turn the team over.
Dave Tippet is in for a long season. He has a great squad, but the Pacific
conference off-season has been one to remember with upgrades all across the
board the stars biggest move was taking the C off center Mike Modono. Although Brendan Morrow is a good candidate Modono
is the face of the franchise. The organization
should respect him enough to let him take it off himself, witch would never
happen, until he retires.
