Favorite AthletesGary Payton. Call him cocky, call him confident. His passion and energy level spread to the rest of his team, and in his prime he led the Seattle Sonics to the 1996 Finals and gave Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls a run for their money. Throw in the fact that he is one of the rare NBA stars who actually was better on the defensive end, and Gary Payton is one of the top point guards of all time.
