Sports Information
Favorite MomentBill Mazeroski hitting walkoff homer winning 1960 World Series for Pirates over Yankees.
Worst MomentBraves losing 1991 World Series Game 7 by 1-0 in ten innings to the Twins and Jack Morris.
Favorite AthletesDale Murphy was my favorite athlete because he played the game the way it should be and because he was a great role model for kids.
Least Favorite AthletesBarry Bonds is my least favorite athlete because of his massive ego and not being a team player but only looking out for his own agenda and being too good to pose for team photos. It is a mystery why he would withdraw his suit against the authors of Game of Shadows since he was suing them for using leaked information and didn't contest them saying he was using steroids.

Am a retired newspaper production worker that has been following baseball since 1955. Have been fortunate to have seen Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, Yogi Berra and Whitey Ford in Kansas City in the 50's and 60's. Saw Maris and Mantle homer in same game the year after Maris had hit 61 home runs.
