Unser Brothers Arrested in Albuquerque

The Unser brothers were arrested yesterday when they broke the red tape on "Unser Drive".

The area had been cordoned off when a carjacking suspect committed suicide following a police chase. Bernalillo County sheriff deputies had set up a road block, while the scene was being investigated.

The scene was first approached by Al Unser Sr. and shortly thereafter by Bobby Unser. The two men were trying to get to their homes (the driveway to the homes is Unser Drive).

The two men apparently disregarded the deputies warnings to stay clear and proceeded on the road instead. They were arrested for resisting arrest and obstructing officers.
