USC 74 George Washington 65

On Saturday, the USC Men's Basketball team defeated George Washington 74-65 at the John R. Wooden Classic in Anaheim, California. Seinor Lodrick Stewart led the way. scoring 19 of his 21 points in the second half. Freshman Daniel Hackett also chipped in with 18 second half points.

The Trojans were held scoreless for nearly 10 minutes in the first half but were able to come bacl, outscoring the Colonials 56-27 in the last 17 1/2 minutes to win going away.

Stewart and Hackett weren't the only ones to have good games. Freshman forward Taj Gibson had 16 points and 17 rebounds and Junior Nick Young scored 13 for the Trojans.

As a result, USC was able to improve to 6-2 on the year, notching their first quality win.
