USC's Pruitt begins Practice

Pruitt finally begins to practice
Pruitt finally begins to practice

On Wednesday, USC junior guard Gabe Pruitt practiced with his teammates for the first time since Oct. 26 to prepare for a return from academic ineligibility. His return could come as soon as the Trojans' game against Bethune-Cookman on December 14.

Coach Tim Floyd had previously barred Pruitt from practice so the guard could focus on his schoolwork. FLoyd said that he would use Pruitt at both guard positions.

If Pruitt does actually return by December 14, he will have sat out only eight games.
