Ty Wigginton (Ty Allen Wigginton) was born on October 11, 1977 in San Diego, California. He made his Major League debut on May 16, 2002 for the New York Mets. In 2003, his rookie year, he hit .255 with 11 home runs and 71 RBI. Wigginton played for the New York Mets, Pittsburgh Pirates, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, and Houston Astros over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Ty Wigginton's best season was 2003, when he knocked in 71 runs.
