Ty Krentler (Walter L. Krentler) was born on April 23, 1895 in Detroit, Michigan. Krentler attended the University of Detroit Mercy. Krentler made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Detroit Heralds. He played for the Detroit Heralds for his entire 1 year career.
