gauge==Biography== Ty Davis (Tyrone Davis) was born on November 17, 1961 in Athens, Georgia. After going to high school at Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA), Davis attended Clemson University. Davis made his professional debut in the NFL in 1985 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for two seasons. An injury during the 1986 preseason sidelined Davis for most of the season placing him on Injured Reserve.
