Two-Leg Match
A match that is played with two games, usually so that each team has one at their home field.
The winner is decided with Aggregate Score, where the team that scored the most goals is the victor.
If the teams are tied in this aspect, they must have a tiebreaker. While in the past replays (that is, another game) were common, they are rare in Europe for two-leg matches.
They are usually decided by the Away Goals Rule, where the team who scored more goals in their away game is declared the winner. If they are still tied, then extra time followed by a Penalty Shootout is the standard procedure.
