Twins Send Down McDonald...Expected to call Up Buscher...What Does it Mean?

Darnell McDonald went 1-10 in his short Major League stint with the Minnesota Twins. The Twins are now expected to call up 3B Brian Buscher.
Buscher, 27, could possibly be a move that the Twins made to remedy the lack of production from the 3B position.
Nick Punto, the current third basemen for the Twins, has had a terrible year. Punto has a batting average of .217, and has only 20 RBI's in 318 At Bats.
It will be interesting to see how Punto handles the pressure of having a new third basemen on the roster. It will also be interesting to see how Manager Ron Gardenhire uses Buscher and if he will give the rookee a chance to show what he can do.
