Twan Russell (Twan Sanchez Russell) was born on April 25, 1974 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After going to high school at St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, FL), Russell attended the University of Miami. Russell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1997 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 2000 was Twan Russell's best year.
