Turk Edwards (Albert Glen Edwards) was born on September 28, 1907 in Mold, Washington. After going to high school at Clarkston (WA), Edwards attended Washington State Universtiy. Edwards made his professional debut in the NFL in 1932 with the Boston Braves. He played for the Washington Redskins, Boston Redskins and Boston Braves over the course of his 9 year career.
