Tuesday's with Romo: It's Not Sunny in Philadelphia

What we are witnessing is the beginning of the end of the Andy Reid / Donovan McNabb Era in Philadelphia. I do not expect either one to be around come 2008. More on that later.

Skins D is better than last year's team. Offense has the talent there and Campbell is a good young QB who has lots of potential. Offensive line still a problem with injuries and thats a major concern now (Jansen gone for season, Thomas potentially out for the season at last report). A solid effort at home against the Giants this coming week and the Skins' could be 3-0 going into their bye week.

I hope the Redskins can build on this, but they are struggling on the offensive line.

There's no reason to panic.....yet. Ron Jaworski reiterated it plenty of times on Monday night when he said that the Philly receivers are not getting separation. McNabb is taking 3 step drops and the receivers are only 5 yards downfield, leading to McNabb averaging less than 6 yard an attempt. McNabb isn't getting off the hook though because his accuracy (which improved in the 2nd half) has been another reason for the offensive struggles. Also, experts are always talking about how great a screen pass team we are. I wouldn't know this year because I think we've run 2.

These two teams show that there is a fine line between 2-0 and 0-2 in the NFL. Philly muffed 2 punts last week in a game they probably should have won, and then did not show up to play against a division rival last night. Washington, meanwhile, has done just enough to win its 2 games, and will be 3-0 after they torch the defenseless New York Giants next week.
