Minnesota Vikings player Troy Williamson was punched in the face outside the Myth Bar in Downtown Minneapolis early Sunday morning. Several players were there attending safety Darren Sharper's annual fundraiser, Sharperpalooza. After the Party ended, players stayed at the bar and refused to leave. At 2:20 AM CST, the staff began to force the players out, when Williamson said something along the lines of "You can't do this to me, I'm a pro football player," causing one of the staff members to punch Williamson in the eye.
Coach Brad Childress stated that no disciplinary action will be taken against Williamson or any other player involved, although Williamson was wearing a protective clear visor during today's practice
