Troy Benson (Troy B. Benson) was born on July 30, 1963 in Altoona, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Altoona (PA), Benson attended the University of Pittsburgh. Benson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1986 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1988 was Troy Benson's best year.
