Troy Barnett (Troy Anthony Barnett) was born on May 24, 1971 in Jacksonville, North Carolina. After going to high school at Southwest (Jacksonville, NC), Barnett attended the University of North Carolina. Barnett made his professional debut in the NFL in 1994 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots and Washington Redskins over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1995 was Troy Barnett's best year.
