Born on October 13, 1967 in Bellflower, California, Trevor Hoffman (Trevor William Hoffman) played for the San Diego Padres and Florida Marlins over the course of his 14 year career. Hoffman broke into the bigs on April 6, 1993 with the San Diego Padres, and put up a 3.90 ERA in 90 innings pitched in 1993, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Trevor Hoffman's best season was 1998, when he posted a 1.48 ERA, notched 53 saves and struck out 86 batters.
