HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of The Bolles School (Fla.) • high school coach was Corky Rodgers • named to the Florida Class 2A All-State Team • ranked as the 89th-best overall player in Florida by the Orlando Sun Sentinel • led Bolles to a 14-0 record in 2006 and a state championship by defeating Clewiston 27-24 • caught three passes for 91 yards in the state title game, including a 58-yard touchdown reception • finished his senior campaign by setting an area record for receiving yards in a regular season with 1,363 in 10 games • also an outstanding track athlete with high marks of 24.1 in the 200 meters, 18-6 in the long jump and 35-10 in the triple jump.
