Trade Review: Gerald Green

With the buzz still on the new Wolves, lets take a look at the best of Gerald Green. To say the least, we'll have some excitement with him on the team this season, and maybe we’ll have our first dunk contest participant in some time.

There was no doubt in my mind that green is an exicting player to watch as we saw with all of the dunks last season. and with his dunk contest win. But, I feel he should have gone to college and not make the jump to the nba so quickley. If he had done that he would be a more rounded player. He still will be but, it will take some time to develope those skills. Minnesota definatley got their share of talent in this deal. Including one of my favoritte players Ryan Gomes.

As a Timberwolves fan, I have accepted the trade. I love KG, but we weren't going anywhere, and it was best for both him and the Wolves. I like what we got, and I agree that Green shouldn't have entered so early. From what I read, they say he is a great athlete but needs more B-Ball IQ.

Very athletic and exciting player, but limited attention to defense (so far) and hasn't shown much of a grasp of the game beyond his offense. I wish him well because he was fun to watch, but it's tough for even the most talented high school kids to contribute early on...you have the rare exceptions like Lebron, but more often the McGradys who take a lot of time and patience to 'get it'.
