After failing to hit Hank Blalock Wednesday night, not only was Sean Tracey taken out of the game, he was sent packing - down to Triple-A. Ozzie Guillen sent Tracey into the game in the 7th with what sources said were orders to retailate for Vicente Padilla's hitting of A.J. Pierzynski twice earlier in the game. After 2 inside pitches, Blalock grounded out.
Guillen slammed a water-bottle to the ground and shortly thereafter Tracey was removed from the game. Guillen then screamed at Tracey in the dugout. Tracey responded by pulling the collar of his jersey over his head.
Tracey was demoted to the minors today, after the Chicago White Sox acquired reliever David Riske from the Boston Red Sox in exchange for minor league reliever Javier Lopez.
