Born on August 8, 1906 in Findlay, Ohio, Tot Pressnell (Forest Charles Pressnell) played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 5 year career. Pressnell broke into the bigs on April 21, 1938 with the Brooklyn Dodgers, and put up a 3.56 ERA in 192 innings pitched in 1938, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Tot Pressnell's best season was 1938, when he posted a 3.56 ERA, won 11 games and struck out 57 batters.
