Joseph looked like he was going to lead the Rough Riders on another scoring drive, but got manhandled and threw an interception in the end zone.
Saskatchewan managed to get back down the field to score a touchdown late in the game, this on a Dominique Dorsey 18-yard run. On the following kick-off, the 11 special teams players gathered around Congi in a huddle like formation for the on-side kick. As one, the 12 players rushed the ball and Congi got the ball off. The Rough Riders recovered and were back in business. Joseph completed a pass to Corey Grant for 46 yards with 44 seconds left on the clock.
The following Argo possession yielded nothing. The ensuing punt by Prefontaine sailed 68 yards and went out of the back of the end zone for another single with 10 seconds left in the game.
