Torii Hunter (Torii Kedar Hunter) was born on July 18, 1975 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He made his Major League debut on August 22, 1997 for the Minnesota Twins. In 1999, his rookie year, he hit .255 with 9 home runs and 35 RBI. Hunter played for the Minnesota Twins for his entire 9 year career.

Most people believe that Torii Hunter's best season was 2002, when he slugged 29 home runs, hit for a .289 average and knocked in 94 runs.
