Top Five Reasons Why Ohio State Lost to Florida

That's right, one of the biggest Buckeye fans on this site isn't sulking or whining today. I'm not discouraged by this loss. It was still a fantastic season for the Ohio State Buckeyes.
I'm also not making a bunch of trite excuses (51 days off/Ginn's injury) for Florida's domination. I'm going to break it down into five very real steps. (And I'm not even doing this as a result of losing a challenge!
5) Urban Meyer flat out out-coached Jim Tressel. Tressel was not himself. He must have left his field position strategy in his other sweater vest. I think this is actually good for Ohio state because it showed Ohio that Tressel is human. I think it will be bad for Florida because Meyer looked like a jackass towards the end of the game and doesn't look like he'll handle the success very well. I see an unsuccessful jump to the pros very near in his future.
4) Florida showed something with their offense and defense that Ohio State didn't see all year: talent. Even though Ohio State knocked off two other number two teams this year (a fact that shouldn't be forgotten), neither Michigan nor Texas was nearly as good as Florida.
3) Previous games meant a lot here. This is somewhat building on number four, but by playing in the SEC, Florida saw a lot more good teams this year. The Big Ten wasn't shabby this year, but Ohio State didn't even play the second best team in Wisconsin. It's also the same reason why Boise State wouldn't have a chance against either of these teams.
2) Ohio State was asleep the whole game. They fell for the sweet lullaby of being an obvious favorite, having an uncontended Heisman winner, having an immortal (seemingly anyway) coach, etc. They weren't ready for what they were facing, which I pointed out before the game to those I was watching the game with, but even I didn't think they'd get blindsided that bad.
1) Hopefully everyone made it down this far, because this point is the key to not only the National Championship game, but the Michigan game as well. You see, what everyone is missing here is that the story line from Space Jam is actually coming true, only the Monstars have to play football instead of basketball.
The Looney Tunes thought that the Monstars might have seen the movie they made, so they decided to switch things up. This all took place the third week of November.
The Monstars looked high and low for the best football talent around and started by taking the talent of the Ohio State defense which explains the high scores of the Michigan game. Then they decided they weren't good enough yet, so they came back in December and took the talent from the Buckeye's offensive line. This explains why Troy Smith was crapping his pants all night last night as he was about to get bulldozed on just about every play.
Then in the first quarter, they snagged the talent of Ted Ginn Jr. which seemed like a leg injury because that's where they sucked it from. I think they may have even gotten to Tressel, right before that 4th and short call. Tressel did look rather wide-eyed.
Think about it. It all makes sense, right? You may not believe it now, but just you wait. Before long the Looney Tunes will be snagging Jeff Garcia to come and save the day.
