Tony Womack (Anthony Darrell Womack) was born on September 25, 1969 in Danville, Virginia. He made his Major League debut on September 10, 1993 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1997, his rookie year, he hit .278 with 6 home runs and 50 RBI. Womack played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies, Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals, New York Yankees and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 13 year career.

Most people believe that Tony Womack's best season was 1999, when he stole 72 bases and hit for a .277 average.
