Tony Semple (Anthony Lee Semple) was born on December 20, 1970 in Springfield, Illinois. After going to high school at Lincoln (IL), Semple attended the University of Memphis. Semple made his professional debut in the NFL in 1995 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 8 year career.
