Tony Sardisco (Anthony Guy Sardisco) was born on December 5, 1932 in Shreveport, Louisiana. After going to high school at St. John's (Shreveport, LA), Sardisco attended Tulane University. Sardisco made his professional debut in the NFL in 1956 with the Washington Redskins. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Washington Redskins the entire time. Sardisco also played in the AFL for 3 years, playing for the Boston Patriots the entire time.

Most people believe that 1960 was Tony Sardisco's best year, as he recovered 3 opponents fumbles.
