Tony Peters (Anthony Lemont Peters) was born on April 28, 1953 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Pauls Valley (OK), Peters attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and the University of Oklahoma. Peters made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Washington Redskins and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 10 year career.
Most people believe that 1980 was Tony Peters's best year, as he picked off 4 passes.
