CAREER NOTES: Has appeared in nine games during his career with one start • has completed 11 of 34 passes for 145 yards and one touchdown • also has seven rushing attempts for 29 yards and one touchdown.

2006 • SOPHOMORE SEASON: Appeared in three games • had two rushing attempts for 10 yards in the season opener at Kent State (8/31) • rushed two times for six yards and scored his first career rushing touchdown against Temple (9/16) • completed two of three passes for 15 yards at top-ranked Ohio State (10/28) • saw action in 47 plays • scholar-athlete award winner • earned second letter.

2005 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Appeared in six games, drawing one start against Wisconsin (10/15) for an injured Bryan Cupito • threw for 130 yards and one touchdown on 24 attempts on the season • Game-by-Game: made first career appearance at Tulsa (9/1) • had first career pass attempt against Colorado State (9/10), completing 2-of-3 passes for 31 yards • attempted four passes against Florida Atlantic (9/17) • kept the offense rolling against Michigan (10/8) while filling in for Cupito when he went out with an injury midway through the fourth quarter • set career-highs, throwing for 99 yards on 7 of 17 passing and one touchdown against Wisconsin (10/15) • connected with Matt Spaeth on a five-yard scoring strike in second quarter against the Badgers for his first career passing touchdown • appeared in the final two plays of the Indiana game (11/5) • Academic All-Big Ten selection • scholar-athlete award winner • participated in 135 plays • earned first letter.

2004: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Hutchinson High School (Minn.) • high school coach was Andy Rostberg • selected as a PrepStar All-Midwest Region choice • named to the SuperPrep Midwest Team • three-time all-conference selection • completed 140-of-250 passes for 2,700 yards and 30 touchdowns in his career • also ran for 1,500 career yards and 18 scores • threw for 900 yards his senior season with nine touchdowns and a 60 percent completion percentage • led team to back-to-back state championship games • an A-Honor Roll student and all-state academic team member • lettered three times in basketball, twice in baseball and once in track.
