Tony Momsen (Anton Henry Momsen) was born on January 29, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio. After going to high school at Edward D. Libbey (Toledo, OH), Momsen attended the University of Michigan. Momsen made his professional debut in the NFL in 1951 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Washington Redskins and Pittsburgh Steelers over the course of his 2 year career.
