Tony Martinez (Gabriel Antonio (Diaz) Martinez) was born on March 18, 1940 in Perico, Cuba. He made his Major League debut on April 9, 1963 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1963, his rookie year, he hit .156 with 0 home runs and 8 RBI. Martinez played for the Cleveland Indians for his entire 3 year career.
