Tony Latone (Anthony J. Latone, Sr.) was born on April 18, 1897 in , PA. Latone attended none. Latone made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Pottsville Maroons. He played for the Pottsville Maroons, Providence Steam Roller and Boston Bulldogs over the course of his 6 year career.
